Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating 35 years of fear at Universal Orlando Resort, and Universal is bringing together some of the event’s biggest icons for the occasion.
Halloween Horror Nights 35 will transform Universal Studios Florida with 10 haunted houses, four scare zones, live entertainment, themed food, exclusive merchandise, and several attractions operating throughout the night. Unlike Hollywood, Orlando does not feature a Terror Tram. Instead, the Florida event offers more haunted houses and several original concepts created specifically for Halloween Horror Nights.
Most of the 2026 lineup has now been announced, including houses based on Sinners, Hellraiser, Stranger Things 5, and Evil Dead Burn. Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow are also returning to lead the event’s 35th-anniversary celebration.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando will feature 10 haunted houses in 2026, and the entire lineup has now officially been revealed.
Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control
Two of Halloween Horror Nights’ biggest icons are finally going head-to-head.
Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control will explore the origins of the rivalry between Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow. Guests will enter the twisted Oddverse and find themselves caught between Jack’s uncontrollable chaos and Oddfellow’s desire for complete control.
Jack has been one of the most recognizable characters in Halloween Horror Nights history, while Dr. Oddfellow became a major part of the event’s more recent story. Bringing them together feels like a fitting way to celebrate 35 years of Halloween Horror Nights.
Sinners
Ryan Coogler’s Sinners is bringing Club Juke to Halloween Horror Nights.
Set in 1930s Mississippi, the house will place guests in the middle of the Smokestack Twins’ new juke joint as music, celebration, and community give way to a bloody vampire attack. Remmick and his followers have arrived, and guests will have to find a way through the club while familiar characters from the movie fight to survive.
Sinners feels like a perfect choice for Halloween Horror Nights. The movie has an incredibly distinct setting, fantastic music, and a group of vampires that should translate beautifully into a haunted house.
Stranger Things 5
Stranger Things is returning to Halloween Horror Nights for one final trip into the Upside Down.
Based on the fifth and final season of the Netflix series, this house will send guests back to Hawkins as Vecna prepares to finish what he started. Along the way, guests will encounter Demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, and other creatures from the Upside Down while joining the Hawkins crew for their final battle.
Stranger Things has already inspired several Halloween Horror Nights houses, but adapting the final season gives Universal an opportunity to make this the biggest and most intense version yet.
Hellraiser
It is time to open the puzzle box and enter a realm of pure pain.
The Hellraiser haunted house will draw from the original film trilogy, bringing Pinhead and the Cenobites into Halloween Horror Nights. Guests will witness the Cenobites’ nightmarish rituals while journeying through a version of Hell filled with chains, hooks, and plenty of suffering.
I went hands-on with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival during Summer Game Fest, so I am already deep in my Hellraiser excitement this year. Seeing the original trilogy represented at Halloween Horror Nights makes this one of my most anticipated houses of the entire event.
Evil Dead Burn
The Book of the Dead has been opened once again, and an entire family is about to pay the price.
Based on Evil Dead Burn, this house will take guests inside a family home consumed by an infernal force. Expect plenty of possessed Deadites, gruesome practical effects, and the excessive amount of blood that has become a defining part of the Evil Dead franchise.
Evil Dead and Halloween Horror Nights have worked well together in the past, and this new house sounds like it will continue that wonderfully disgusting tradition.
H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular!
H.R. Bloodengutz is returning to WKNB for another Halloween scare-athon.
During this original house, Universal’s maître d’macabre will present a carefully curated collection of Halloween programming filled with monsters, gore, and plenty of classic holiday imagery. The original H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: Holidays of Horror house became a fan favorite after appearing at Halloween Horror Nights 21, making this a particularly exciting return for longtime guests.
An evil television host presenting a collection of twisted Halloween specials sounds like the type of wonderfully strange concept that allows the Orlando creative team to have some fun with the format.
MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals
Society has collapsed, and the survivors have found refuge inside an abandoned zoo. Unfortunately, the animals are no longer the most dangerous creatures in the cages.
Madlands: Caged Cannibals will place guests between several warring cannibal factions that have embraced their animal instincts. Each group has seemingly created its own identity around the abandoned zoo, turning what was once a place for displaying animals into a hunting ground for humans.
This is a wild original concept, and the zoo setting should give Universal plenty of room to create distinct environments and factions throughout the house.
Cybergoria
Humanity entered a machine-controlled cryogenic sleep with the promise of awakening to immortality. Instead, their cybernetic caretakers removed their flesh and transformed them into something no longer entirely human.
Cybergoria will send guests into a cold mechanical world where machines are determined to preserve humanity forever, even if the process kills everyone involved.
Body horror and cybernetic machinery should make for a disturbing combination. This could also become one of the year’s most visually distinct houses if Universal fully commits to its technological nightmare.
INVASION: Alien Abduction
The Grays have arrived, and they definitely did not come in peace.
INVASION: Alien Abduction will throw guests into the wreckage of a Southwestern homestead during an extraterrestrial attack. Guests will encounter probing tentacles, alien experiments, and creatures from the darkest reaches of space while desperately trying to escape the abduction.
Aliens are a great fit for Halloween Horror Nights, especially when Universal leans into the strange body-horror side of alien encounters. I am excited to see whether this feels like a classic flying-saucer invasion or something much darker.
Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness
Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating 45 years of Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career with Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness.
Created in collaboration with the Osbourne family, the house will transform the music, characters, and imagery associated with the Prince of Darkness into a full horror experience. Guests will travel through nightmarish scenes inspired by albums including Blizzard of Ozz, No More Tears, and Scream, encountering different versions of Ozzy and plenty of Easter eggs along the way.
The Orlando version will reportedly lean into some of the heavier eras of Ozzy’s career, taking guests through ancient ruins and even aboard a twisted version of the “Crazy Train.” Most importantly, Ozzy’s music will remain at the heart of every room.
I love the music-based houses at Halloween Horror Nights. They are some of the best embodiments of the creative freedom that makes this event special. Instead of directly recreating scenes from a movie, Universal can take an artist’s music, album artwork, stage personas, and overall style and transform them into something completely new.
Ozzy is also one of the most natural choices Universal could make for this kind of house. His music and career are filled with dark fantasy, monsters, madness, and horror imagery. More than just another haunted house, Prince of Darkness sounds like it will be a wonderfully loud and fitting celebration of Ozzy’s legacy.
Halloween Horror Nights Orlando Scare Zones Revealed So Far
Four scare zones have been announced for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 2026. This year’s zones combine the ongoing battle between Jack and Oddfellow with several very different styles of horror.
Infernal Carnival of Nightmares
Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow proudly welcome guests to the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.
This zone will serve as a sinister centerpiece for the event’s 35th-anniversary story, combining both icons and their twisted carnival imagery. Universal describes it as a spectacle decades in the making, suggesting that longtime Halloween Horror Nights fans may discover several references to the event’s past.
Sideshow of Decay
Cindy Caine is finally stepping back into the spotlight.
With help from Dr. Oddfellow’s dark magic, Cindy has opened a portal inside the carnival’s junkyard and resurrected a collection of decaying nightmares from Halloween Horror Nights history.
Cindy has spent years sitting just outside the main lineup of Halloween Horror Nights icons, so giving her a major role during the 35th anniversary feels long overdue.
FORTNITEMARES
Fortnite is dropping into Halloween Horror Nights with a live-action FORTNITEMARES scare zone.
As the Storm spreads, guests will enter an evolving environment filled with familiar FORTNITEMARES enemies, unsettling surprises, and recognizable elements from the game. Universal has also teased appearances from the Battle Bus and some characters created exclusively for Halloween Horror Nights.
I have been incredibly excited by almost every Halloween Horror Nights announcement this year, but FORTNITEMARES is the first one that has left me feeling a little unsure. Fortnite has featured plenty of horror characters and Halloween collaborations, but it does not immediately feel like the best fit alongside Hellraiser, Sinners, and the event’s returning icons.
That being said, Universal is describing it as a living battleground that will evolve throughout the night. If the creative team takes full advantage of that concept, this could still surprise me. For now, it is one I will need to see in action before I am completely sold.
Downtown Clowntown
New York City is being taken over by some of horror’s deadliest clowns.
Downtown Clowntown will feature Art the Clown, the Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and other murderous clowns roaming through the city’s corrupted boroughs. Each area will apparently have its own group of twisted residents, turning the streets into one massive clown-infested nightmare.
Between Art, the Killer Klowns, Jack, and Oddfellow’s carnival, Halloween Horror Nights 35 is clearly going very heavy on clowns. At least Downtown Clowntown brings several distinctly different styles of clown horror together in one area.
Halloween Horror Nights Orlando Shows
Halloween Horror Nights Orlando will feature at least two major nighttime shows in 2026.
Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir
Nightmare Fuel returns with Blood Noir, a new live production combining dark music, dancers, aerial performances, and dangerous stunts.
This year’s story will transport guests into a vampire-infested metropolis filled with temptation and death-defying performances. Nightmare Fuel has become a recurring part of Halloween Horror Nights, providing guests with a chance to sit down without completely escaping the intensity of the event.
Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins
Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins will take over the Universal Studios lagoon.
Presented as a special broadcast from WSQK, the show will revisit major characters, monsters, music, and moments from all five seasons of Stranger Things. These scenes will be projected across the lagoon with additional effects bringing Hawkins and the Upside Down to life.
Does Halloween Horror Nights Orlando Have a Terror Tram?
Universal Orlando does not have a Terror Tram.
The Terror Tram is exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood because that park is connected to an active film and television backlot. Hollywood guests board a tram before being dropped off to walk through a themed portion of the studio property.
Orlando makes up for the missing Terror Tram with 10 haunted houses, compared to Hollywood’s typically smaller house lineup. Universal Studios Florida also has more room for large scare zones and outdoor entertainment throughout the park.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando 2026 will run on 48 select nights from August 28 through November 1.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando Tickets
Halloween Horror Nights is a separately ticketed event. Standard admission to Universal Studios Florida does not automatically include access unless a specific ticket or Annual Pass benefit states otherwise.
Prices vary by date and availability, with weekends and popular October nights generally costing more.
Single-Night General Admission — Starting at $87.99
Single-Night General Admission provides entry to Halloween Horror Nights on one selected date. It includes access to all 10 haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment, themed food locations, and participating attractions.
It does not include daytime park admission, Universal Express, or Scream Early access.
Scream Early Ticket — Starting at $70
The Scream Early Ticket provides admission to Universal Studios Florida beginning at 2:00 p.m. before Halloween Horror Nights.
Guests can enjoy participating daytime attractions before gaining early access to at least three haunted houses. A separate Halloween Horror Nights admission ticket for the same date is required.
The Scream Early Ticket previously provided park admission beginning at 3:00 p.m. For 2026, Universal has moved entry forward by an hour and added access to select houses beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m., making it a much more substantial early-entry option.
Halloween Horror Nights Express — Starting at $169.99
Halloween Horror Nights Express allows guests to skip the regular line once at all 10 haunted houses and participating attractions.
Event admission is not included, so guests must purchase a separate Halloween Horror Nights ticket for the same night. Express prices vary significantly depending on the selected date.
Rush of Fear Pass — Starting at $229.99
The Rush of Fear Pass provides admission to the first 18 eligible nights of Halloween Horror Nights.
This is intended for guests visiting during the opening weeks of the event. It offers a lower starting price than the other multi-night passes but does not extend into the busiest part of the Halloween season.
Frequent Fear Pass — Starting at $274.99
The Frequent Fear Pass includes admission to as many as 31 eligible nights.
Its calendar primarily covers Sunday through Thursday event nights, along with opening weekend. This makes it a strong option for local guests who can attend during the week and do not need regular Friday or Saturday access.
Frequent Fear Plus Pass — Starting at $324.99
The Frequent Fear Plus Pass expands admission to as many as 41 eligible nights.
This tier includes most Sunday through Friday event dates, along with the first and final Saturdays. It provides considerably more weekend flexibility than the standard Frequent Fear Pass.
Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass — Starting at $449.99
The Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass includes admission to every eligible regular Halloween Horror Nights event night.
The two Premium Scream Nights are not included. The Ultimate pass also includes complimentary self-parking after 5:00 p.m. on valid event nights, making it the strongest option for local guests who plan to visit throughout the entire season.
Premium Scream Night — Starting at $399
Premium Scream Night is a limited-capacity version of Halloween Horror Nights offered on August 27 and October 19.
The ticket includes access to all 10 haunted houses with shorter wait times than a normal event night, select all-you-care-to-enjoy food and nonalcoholic beverages, scare zones, entertainment, participating attractions, and complimentary self-parking.
Universal only offered one Premium Scream Night in 2025. The experience has expanded to two dates for 2026, including a rare midseason event on October 19.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando R.I.P. Tour
The standard Halloween Horror Nights Orlando R.I.P. Tour starts at $399.99 per person.
Guests join an R.I.P. guide for a shared guided tour offering one-time Priority VIP entry to up to all 10 haunted houses and participating attractions, depending on the night’s itinerary and operating hours.
The standard tour also includes:
Priority VIP entry to the haunted houses while accompanied by the guide
Universal Express Unlimited access to participating regular attractions during event hours
A pre-tour reception with light appetizers
Reserved seating at select event shows during the tour
A commemorative R.I.P. Tour credential, lanyard, and button
Complimentary valet parking for one vehicle when reserved in advance
Access to select cash-bar locations
Unlike the Hollywood R.I.P. Tour, the Orlando version does not include Halloween Horror Nights admission. A separate event ticket for the same night is required.
Universal Express Unlimited also excludes the haunted houses once the guided portion of the tour is complete. Priority access to the houses is provided once per house while following the R.I.P. guide.
What Changed About the Orlando R.I.P. Tour in 2026?
The biggest change for 2026 is the introduction of a new 5-House R.I.P. Tour.
5-House R.I.P. Tour — Starting at $299.99
The new tour allows guests to choose between a North or South itinerary when booking. Each route includes five predetermined haunted houses, with one-time Priority VIP entry while accompanied by an R.I.P. guide.
The 5-House Tour also includes Universal Express Unlimited access to participating regular attractions, reserved seating at a select show when included in the itinerary, a commemorative credential, and other tour benefits.
Halloween Horror Nights admission is not included and must be purchased separately.
This new option makes the guided R.I.P. experience slightly more accessible, but $299.99 plus event admission is still a substantial price for only half of the haunted-house lineup. It makes the most sense for guests who want premium access but are only particularly interested in one side of the park. Anyone determined to experience every house with a guide will still need the full R.I.P. Tour.
Universal is also continuing to offer private R.I.P. Tours for groups that want their own guide. Pricing varies by date and group size, and reservations must be made directly through Universal.

Original concepts such as Cybergoria, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, and INVASION: Alien Abduction also prevent the event from relying entirely on existing franchises.
I am still unsure whether FORTNITEMARES belongs alongside the rest of this lineup, but almost every other reveal has given me something to be excited about. With one final haunted house still waiting to be announced, Halloween Horror Nights 35 already looks like it will be one of Universal Orlando’s biggest events yet.
