Maneater 2 will launch in 2027, as recently announced in the September State of Play.

Maneater 2 will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
What price is Maneater 2 launching at?
Maneater 2 does not have a confirmed launch price. The first Maneater is priced at $39.99, meaning that its sequel is most likely to be available at a similar price, or at least much cheaper than the modern AAA pricing of $69.99.
How does Maneater 2 gameplay work?
Similar to the first game, Maneater 2 is an open-world action-RPG featuring a shark as its playable character. As its name clearly implies, the shark eats everything in its path, earning its spot at the top of the food chain, leaving behind uneaten animal and human leftovers.
Players will also explore multiple biomes across an open-world which houses many secrets waiting to be discovered. Along the way, the playable shark will undergo genetic mutations thanks to not-so-ethical research and conservation efforts, changing how the aquatic predator behaves and, of course, munches on its victims.
What is the plot and setting of Maneater 2?
The events of Maneater 2 take place at Neptune’s Kingdom, a five-star, luxury theme park and resort. Its Marine Research division takes the spotlight, as it has successfully crafted various attractions that emulate regions from around the world, such as the freezing Arctic or the scorching volcanic zones. This allows for the fostering of an incredibly diverse selection of flora and fauna, including our bull shark protagonist.
The Marine Research division also dipped its toes into the world of genetic experimentation, which led to the birth of many unique species, such as a G-Wagon-sized crab. The bull shark will take advantage of these, as said above, allowing for various transformations that are as frightening as they are dangerous. That way, you’ll be able to escape Neptune’s Kingdom, and hopefully bring the resort to a very deserved end.
Also, Trip Westhaven, the disgraced reality TV host who acts as a narrator and is voiced by Chris Parnell, will be back for more color one-sided commentary.
