THQ Nordic and Pieces Interactive have announced that they are releasing a reimagined version of Alone In The Dark. This time, they got back up by bringing in Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, Free Guy) and David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow) to take on the roles of the two protagonists Emily Hartwood and Edward Carnby.
The story you experience in this game will be based on which character you choose to play as. For now, you can see both of them in action in the new spotlight video, showcasing a ton of gameplay. Better yet, those on PC can try the game out themselves with the free prologue on Steam.
Get ready to explore Derceto Manor in this reimagination of Alone in the Dark, a love letter to the 90’s cult classic horror game! Set in the gothic American South in the 1920s, Alone in the Dark features a noir setting with classical Lovecraftian horror elements, where the familiar meets the surreal.
Alone In The Dark is set to launch on October 25th for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. You can pre-order the game on all platform now in the standard and digital deluxe editions. Those who go with the deluxe edition will also receive the Derceto 1992 Costume Pack, Director's Commentary Mode, and Vintage Horror Filter Pack.
