Bringing a game that allows players to face a demon is one thing, but when you put three players with specific roles together against one player that can fully control the demon, you have something interesting. Indie developers Forceight Games are about to release their new player-verse-player title Vade Retro: Exorcism to bring player-controlled scares to this spooky season.
In this PvP title, players can choose their team to play with friends or with other players online. They can become the demon or play in co-op if they want to be a member of the exorcist team. By joining it, they will have the choice of 3 roles: the priest, the medic, or the engineer. Each role plays an important role in the exorcism process. Priests can speak incantations and defy the laws of nature by summoning spirits, Medics can heal their teammates and use their potions to defeat the demon, and Engineers use their equipment to help their teammates progress through the game. Meanwhile, one player plays as the Demon and make their opponents go through hell as they avoid getting exorcised by the three-man crew.
Vade Retro: Exorcism is definitely an interesting title that will be allowing players a lot of freedom in what they want to do in whichever role they decide to take on. It is set to launch this Halloween on PC via Steam. Which role will you control in a fight between a demon and the exorcist team?
