A simple-in-concept title from developers Wonderful Lasers that originally launched on mobile has been picked up and expanded on by the team over at Rogue Games. What was once a fun little mobile experience is now becoming a super racer title with single-player and multiplayer options. This game is Super Impossible Road and it is coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 9th with plans to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in Q1 2022.
On top of the new platform options, they are also introducing online multiplayer that will allow up to eight players to face off against each other. The game will also have crossplay so players can play with anybody on any platfrom, even mobile. If you aren’t keen on playing online, there will also be split-screen couch play that will allow up to four players to race against each other.
In Super Impossible Road, you play as a racing sphere on a wild track with the only goal being to reach the bottom first. In order to take full advantage of your speed and the track’s design, you will need to strategically cheat by jumping off the side and landing on a part of the track below. But be careful, if you free fall for too long, it’ll set you back on the track around where you fell off. Are you up for a race where the slogan is ‘Cheating is Winning?’
