Little is known about Fire Child at this point, but what is certainly told by this teaser is that it could offer up some of what mobile horror games have utilized quite well these days: immersion through the use of headphones audio and clever use of touchscreen controls. It’s also another example of how mobile gaming could be an immersive experience with the use of something like VR, via Google Cardboard and the like. By how cool these visuals look and by the creepy, unsettling sounds provided by composer Dren McDonald (Ghost Recon, The String Arcade), this could definitely be something worth keeping one eye open on while you sleep.
