And now Bethesda has released the Update 1. It’s available now and it introduces some new content for both campaign play and the Battlemode multiplayer system.
Empowered Demons are now a thing. If a player dies during the single-player campaign, the demon that delivered the killing blow receives a strength buff and gets transported into another player’s game. Slaying an Empowered Demon rewards players with a lot of health, ammo, and bonus XP. If you don’t want to deal with them, you can toggle the feature up, but it’s a cool feature that can spice up gameplay.
Also, a new event, leveling system, and a whole host of balance changes are improving Battlemode for all multiplayer players.
That’s a lot to look forward to in the world of the Doom Slayer!
