The Star Wars VR Series game that launched Episode 1 back in May 2019 and won Best VR/AR Game at the 2020 Game Developers’ Choice Awards, along with multiple other awards, is coming to the PlayStation VR platform later this year! That’s right, ILMxLAB announced that the entire three episode trilogy for Vader Immortal will be launching on PSVR as a full bundle pack. If you have the VR gear for PC, the full bundle is available now, but this summer it will reach a wider audience.
Prepare to experience your own story within the Star Wars universe and even fight with a lightsaber as you step into the role of a Force-sensitive smuggler. It may take a while, but it’s time to spend hours mastering the Lightsaber Dojo to unlock various lightsaber hilts of Darth Maul, Ahsoka Tano, Luke Skywalker, and Kylo Ren.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Sony to bring Vader Immortal to PlayStation VR,” said Mark Miller, Executive Creative Producer at ILMxLAB. “We can’t wait to share this experience with a broader audience.”
Hopefully, with this new partnership with Sony, we will see more VR titles from ILMxLAB heading over to PSVR, such as their Droid Repair Bay and Ralph Breaks VR. I can’t wait to get my own lightsaber and start fighting my way through enemies until reaching the infamous Darth Vader! Check out the trailer for the full Vader Immortal series bundle below:
