The upcoming BioMutant shared 20 minutes of gameplay at Gamescom, and we get a closer look at the Wushu martial arts and fighting game where third-person combat becomes a free-flowing mix and match. The transition between gunplay and melee brawling occurs seamlessly.
The game's graphics look great, and the action appears to be fast-paced and kinetic. The style blends the quirky nature and mad shooting of Borderlands with the close-quarters combat of Monster Hunter. From the sneak peek that we get in the footage, BioMutant could be a sleeper hit. It's got a lot of the right things that gamers are looking for with its humor, well-crafted combat, and interesting world. Maybe the apocalypse won't be so bad after all.
If you're already a fan of the game or the gameplay has piqued your interest, then THQ Nordic has also released trailers showing off the special editions of the game available to order. Check them out below.
