The kitchen is open—and it’s already on fire. Indie studio JofSoft has officially launched Pizza Bandit into Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store, and it’s every bit as chaotic as it sounds. The pitch alone—“Gears of War meets Overcooked”—is the kind of ridiculous, attention-grabbing statement that immediately sells the game.

You’ll step into the boots of Malik, a time-traveling ex-mercenary who’s traded in blood money for pizza dough, chasing the oddly specific dream of running the galaxy’s greatest pizza joint. Of course, that dream doesn’t come easy—you’ll be flipping pies and blasting enemies across different eras, cooking meals while dodging bullets, and juggling the kind of multitasking meltdowns that only get wilder when friends join the fray. This is 1–4 player co-op at its most outrageous, with scaling difficulty, explosive combat, and enough customization to turn your mercenary-turned-pizzaiolo into a stylish, culinary warlord.

From decking out your dream restaurant in neon lights to kitting yourself out with deadly weapons and glowing accessories, Pizza Bandit thrives on style and chaos in equal measure. Add in voice direction from industry veteran Chris Borders (of Gears of War fame), new cinematic storytelling, and achievements to chase, and this Early Access launch already feels like a feast worth devouring.
