After being announced back in 2020 during the PS5 games reveal, we have finally been provided some new footage for the upcoming cat-based adventure game Stray! This time, Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio have provided a few minutes of gameplay to show what this cat will be up to during its journey. This includes cat attitudes like scratching furniture and showing affection to the robot people.
Using the abilities a natural cat would have, players will have to solve puzzles to make their way through the forgotten city. They will also end up working with a drone called B-12 that will help them interact with parts of the world and communicate with human-like robots to learn about the communities they inhabit. That doesn’t mean that they are completely safe either, so they should be prepared for there to be plenty of dangers in this world that they will need to escape from as well.
Stray has been pushed to release Early 2022 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It will be a console exclusive, so there are currently no plans for an Xbox nor Switch release at this time.
