A game that first went into Steam’s Early Access way back in 2016 with plans to be fully released by the end of the same year, then sometime in 2019, is finally leaving the beta version! While I am not exactly sure what took so long in development, be it balancing, lack of funds, or other difficulties, it is great to see this game officially launching. This game, of course, is Golf With Your Friends by Blacklight Interactive.
On top of this announcement, publisher Team17 included that it will be coming to all major consoles at the same time as well. Sometime in Q2 of 2020 we will see this up to 12-player golf battle game hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Based on what they show in the trailer, not only are we getting what they mentioned in the Early Access detail list, there will be traps, upgrades, multiple modes, and 12 different maps.
As someone who has had Golf With Your Friends for a couple of years now, I am excited to jump into a few new maps and experience a few new challenge modes! I can see the traps and obstacles aspect being utilized greatly by my friends to stop me from winning, par usual. Are you happy to see it finally leaving early access and coming to major consoles?
