During Summer Games Fest, Capcom kicked it off by confirming another character for Street Fighter 6; Guile. You will be able to master classic moves such as his Somersault Kick and the Sonic Boom projectile, as well as new attacks such as his Crossfire Somersault and a brand new Super Art that fires a massive aerial slash followed by a devastating Somersault Kick. These moves will work in the traditional Classic Control Type, or with the brand new, simplified Modern Control Type.
Street Fighter 6 itself will mark another great entry in the legendary fighting franchise, and is powered by Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine. The game will span three distinct modes including Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. While the game maintains its iconic art style and enhanced visuals, new gameplay features promise a compelling experience for longtime, returning fans, as well as newcomers to the series.
Guile’s appearance marks the fifth confirmation for the upcoming game, where he will join familiar faces such as Chun-Li and Ryu when the game launches worldwide in 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
