343 has announced that it will begin testing the upcoming PC version of Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary on the Master Chief Collection in February! A Series of flights will be conducted that will test the game’s campaign and multiplayer to ensure features are working properly. The following will all be tested in the upcoming flights:
Single Player and Cooperative Campaign
Multiplayer
Customization
Progression
Halo: Reach was the first game in the Halo franchise to make its way back to PC as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and reception has been mostly favorable. With Halo CE beginning its testing phase we shouldn’t have long to wait before the title makes its way back to PC in higher fidelity! I am personally not the biggest fan of the Anniversary treatment the game got but even the OG Xbox graphics have looked splendid on the Xbox One X in 4K! The PC version of the game should also be able to take advantage of higher frame rates and better FOV settings as well as ultrawide resolutions. If you would like to sign up for the upcoming beta tests be sure to get signed up over on Halo Waypoint!
