I am starting to understand Halo Infinite’s title and tagline as the new Forge beta has recently been released with the Winter Update. 343 Industries has been hard at work trying to revive Halo Infinite’s fun factor. As we celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary, we also can celebrate the beginning of endless possibilities and hours of fun. Forge mode will be Halo’s saving grace, and I can not wait to try everything.
YouTuber Mint Blitz has an excellent video showcasing some of the coolest creations since Forge’s launch along with daily Halo videos. After you watch the video below, be sure to check out his channel to see all the options Halo Infinite’s Forge mode offers.
Forge is currently in beta, so it is understandable that matchmaking is not here just yet. Thankfully there are a number of Discords that have been dedicated to finding players to play custom matches with. Mint Blitz’s Discord seems to be growing with a huge active following and your chances of getting a proper custom match are high. Yes, this is a bit of a hindrance as opposed to matchmaking but it is absolutely worth it. There are already plenty of user-created maps and modes that are outstanding and will clearly be the soul of the game once matchmaking is implemented.
Halo Infinite multiplayer is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
