Marauders, developed by Small Impact Games and published by Team17, has officially been updated with the United Allies expansion. Marauders is a sci-fi looter shooter with tactical elements and co-op play. The game has been in early access for months, and this new batch of content is perfect for players itching for revitalization. While the game has a fixed price, United Allies is completely free for players and comes with loads of content.
The title of the pack, United Allies, is named after a new faction included in the expansion. The player can pillage these space-navy Marines and their colony cruiser which provides cosmetics and weapons for a unique experience such as the Sherman Plate Armor and the China Lake grenade launcher. Grenades are available as well.
The developers at Small Impact Games have heard the outcry for more community features and have answered the call. Players can now purchase, or claim in battle, 14 ships which is triple the original amount. Red explosive barrels make an appearance in classic video game fashion along with a unique resource called Wreckage, which enables in-flight airlock salvaging and mineral collection. During raids, players can now trade and barter with vendors amidst the action and communicate with friends through the highly appreciated proximity chat.
United Allies is free on PC via Steam through a prerequisite purchase of Marauders.
