The latest free update from Hello Games brings the Minotaur Heavy Exocraft Hybrid to No Man's Sky.
And this thing is packed with features:
A fully controllable mechanical walker
Powerful jetpack for big jumps and fast slides during planetary traversal.
Full 360° view in VR brings the interior of the Minotaur to life
Immunity to all planetary hazards enables resource gathering can be done safely
A mining laser that can be upgraded to a Terrain Manipulator
And, in addition to the new Minotaur, all exocraft can now be upgraded with solar panels, equipped with the Signal Booster, or summoned with the Orbital Exocraft Materializer.
Improvements to the rest of the game include adjustments to the lighting model. Thin, moving objects now appear lighter and more stable. That’s going to be nice when exploring planets. On PC, scalable game resolution can be manipulated without affecting UI resolution. And all players can build an Electrical Cloaking Unit, which will hide power lines at player bases. And a host of other small changes remains. For a detailed look at the patch notes, click here.
No Man’s Sky started out rather empty compared to many players’ expectations, but Hello Games has been dedicated to continually updating and improving the game.
