Epic Games just released the new 4.3 content update in Fortnite. The latest patch introduced a new item called the Bouncer, which is a new trap that players can find in Supply Drops, Supply Llamas, Treasure Chests, or as loot. The Bouncer can be placed on walls or in the ground and will send off players who step on it flying into the air.
Furthermore, an assortment of weapon and building adjustments were also introduced to address concerns raised by a few players and to improve the overall game. The weapon changes include an adjustment to the Minigun’s accuracy that improves it by 10% and also increased its impact from 25 to 30. Moreover, Epic Games removed damage fall off from all Pistols, SMGs, and Rifles.
Together with the weapon changes, the developer also tweaked the looting system in the game. The new update now reduced the chances of materials dropping off as floor loot by 33%. The chances of obtaining explosive ammo also received a decrease of 50%, while light ammo stack sizes increased from 12 to 18.
Epic Games revealed that the adjustments made will be monitored and fine-tuned when needed. The patch notes said that “We will be closely monitoring these changes when they are live to assess the impact an re-adjust as necessary.” You can check out the full details of the update in the patch notes via Fortnite’s website.
