Yesterday (Tuesday, March 24th), through Episode 6 of The Borderlands Show, we were given a ton of new details regarding Borderlands 3’s upcoming story DLC, Guns, Love, and Tentacles, the Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event, the increased level cap, and much more. We will be lightly covering everything that was mentioned during the show, but I would highly recommend watching the episode for yourself, as gameplay highlights from the first hour of Guns, Love, and Tentacles were showcased throughout.

Alongside the launch of Guns, Love, and Tentacles tomorrow (March 26th), players will see another increase to the level capacity from 53 to 57. This increase will allow players to use put 4 more skill points towards any of the skill trees they desire, providing even more possibilities for end-game builds.
Speaking of end-game, the Takedown Shakedown limited-time event boosts loot drops for Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite bosses. The event starts now and will end on Thursday, April 2nd at 8:59 AM PT.
The Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event will shortly follow Guns, Love, and Tentacles sometime in April, along with Mayhem 2.0.
The event will have players help their Saurian pal, Maurice, clear his debts to Joey Ultraviolet. Players will eliminate thugs that are hiding across the vast solar system, including places found in DLC areas. Once enough of the thugs have been eliminated, Maurice will teleport Sanctuary III to The Mansion, where Joey Ultraviolet and his goons are hanging out. Players will have the chance to unlock some Revenge of the Cartels themed gear throughout the duration of the event.
Mayhem 2.0 will create a tab in your ECHO device, so you can adjust it on the go, rather than having to return to Sanctuary III every time you need to change it. There are also now 10 levels of Mayhem vs only 4, and loot will be determined by your level of Mayhem. (Ex: A gun on Mayhem 4 will have better stats than the exact same gun on Mayhem 2)
The Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC arrives for Borderlands 3 tomorrow (Thursday, March 26th), alongside the increased level cap to 57. The Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event, and Mayhem 2.0 will arrive side by side shortly after in April. Make sure you take advantage of the Takedown Shakedown event as well before it ends on April 2nd.
