Yesterday, gaming got a huge surprise. Thanks to an accidental leak by Target's website, we now not only know that a Shadow Of Mordor sequel is in development, we also know what it will be about and when it will release as well! Middle Earth: Shadow Of War sounds like you will try to destroy Sauron from the inside, take a look at the official description:

A date for the game had the release date listed as August 22nd of this year, but it could just be a placeholder. Like Injustice 2, Shadow Of War will also come bundled with a "gold edition" that will include four expansions with more missions, Orc armies, and an entirely different playable character. If the price point is anything like it was with Injustice 2, the "gold," edition will likely run close to $100.
Personally, I'm very excited that there's a possibility we could be playing a sequel to Shadow Of Mordor this year! If you haven't played the first game you need to pick it up now!
