Legendary director Hideo Kojima has started HideoTube, a new show on his YouTube channel Kojima Productions. In this first episode, Kojima describes what kind of content he will be posting in the future in hopes that people will subscribe to this new venture. After launching the show Feb. 11 with over 59K subscribers as of this writing, the viewership is already off to a solid start.
In this episode, he is joined by Kenji Yano to talk about some of their favorite films of 2015. Mentioning such films as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Mad Max: Fury Road, it’s great to get his thoughts about some of the latest films. His work in the past has always had a strong cinematic element, and his collaboration with Guillermo Del Toro in P.T. shows that he knows how to pick the best of them.
