STREET FIGHTER Player Uses Mouth on Controller and Kicks Ass While Doing It

My first thought: it simply doesn’t get more bad ass than BrolyLegs. His positive mentality towards his physical condition is truly inspiring. Stricken since birth with a condition where his brain doesn’t communicate to his muscles for growth, he hasn’t let that get in the way of his skills in Street Fighter. With full ability to use the muscles in his head and his neck, he grew into a professional Street Fighter contender who travels the U.S. to compete in tournaments. According to this video, he is currently the #1 ranked Chun-Li online Ultra Street Fighter 4 player.

I did always get that look, that when someone had to play me, they looked at me and were like, ’Is this a free win? Is this a buy?’ and it kind of gave me that drive to beat them. Because I was like ’No, I’m here to knock you out.’ I didn’t want people’s sympathy, I didn’t want their pity when they saw me play. I wanted them to see that this guy is pretty good. If I can do it, you can do it.

BrolyLegs embodies everything that makes gaming culture such an awesome thing to be a part of. To see this kind of triumph over adversity, positive outlook despite his physical limitations, his dedication to his skills as a player, and to hear him describe his passion for Street Fighter in this video is hugely inspiring stuff.
