Early in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll have your first encounter with a cartographer named Shakra. At this location, she sells maps of the opening areas, as well as some very important map items you’ll certainly need if you don’t want to get lost while exploring the game’s sprawling world.
Each thing Shakra sells costs rosaries, however, which serve as Hollow Knight: Silksong’s currency. At this early stage of the game, you probably won’t have many rosaries, and you may not want to venture too far from her location without buying everything that she’s selling, as the functionalities from these map items can drastically improve your ability to navigate the world.
Luckily, you can make a quick rosary farming loop nearby to save up enough to buy everything. Follow the simple steps below.
Early rosary farm in Hollow Knight: Silksong
From Shakra, go left and take the exit at the top of the screen. Go through the exit to the left here and into a long room with lots of enemies. Kill all of these enemies and collect their rosaries — though I'd recommend skipping the one that fires projectiles on the upper platforms, as it's out of the way and can get in some cheap hits if you don't time your jumps just right.
At the far end of this room, take the exit down into a room below. Drop down to the right and defeat the enemy here, then continue right while defeating all of the enemies in your way and collecting their rosaries.
Eventually, you'll leave the room and find yourself back in the same room as Shakra, meaning you can repeat the process over again. Each run should net you quite a few Rosary Beads, meaning you won't need to do this too many times to purchase everything from Shakra.
