How Long Is Dispatch?

With its lovable cast, shockingly raunchy humor, and phenomenal art style, Dispatch has captured the hearts of players worldwide. There’s really just so much to love about this charming (albeit very mature) superhero outing, which sees you take on the role Robert Robertson, a down-on-his-luck hero who takes a job dispatching villains-turned-superheroes while navigating his own personal relationships with them.

If you’re interested in seeing what all the fuss is about, you may be wondering how long it’ll take to see Dispatch from beginning to end. Here’s how long it takes to beat every episode of Dispatch and reach the game’s conclusion — for now?

How long does it take to beat Dispatch?

Dispatch consists of 8 episodes, with each episode taking around an hour to beat. As such, an average playthrough of the full game should take around 8 hours. This includes all of the choice-based cinematic segments, as well as the more involved gameplay sections, which see you dispatching your crew around the city to fight crime and help civilians.

Of course, Dispatch is designed to be experienced multiple times, as you’ll be able to make completely different choices on subsequent playthroughs that can dramatically alter the way the game’s story plays out. So, while a single playthrough of 8 hours may feel short for some, there’s clearly a wealth of replayability available for anyone interested in seeing all the ways the story can unfold.

While these first 8 episodes tell a full story already, Dispatch’s massive success has led developer AdHoc Studios to consider working on an additional season of the show. If that comes to fruition, there’s a reasonable chance the game will see even more seasons beyond that, too, so we may have a lot more Dispatch to come.

While we wait to hear whether there’s more superhero fun to come from AdHoc Studios, you can check out Dispatch on PlayStation 5 and PC.
