The Resident Evil franchise has been around for 30 years, and each of their games have been different in length. While these survival horror games aren’t super long, they still give you a decent amount of story to play through. So what about Resident Evil Requiem? Let’s discuss how long it’ll take you to beat the ninth installment of Resident Evil.
How long will it take to beat Resident Evil Requiem?
Some Resident Evil games have multiple playthroughs, such as Leon and Claire’s stories in Resident Evil 2, but Resident Evil Requiem keeps things shorter and more to the point. Although you can speed run the game to get the best score by the end, an average first playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem is around 13 hours.
Throughout Resident Evil Requiem’s main story, you’ll bounce between playing as Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy. Luckily, both Grace and Leon’s sections are separated pretty evenly, as you’ll have long and short sections for both protagonists, each offering their own unique playstyle to help keep things interesting.
In all Resident Evil games, getting a fast playthrough with minimal deaths and saves will give you a higher score in the end. If you want that S rank, you can probably speed run Resident Evil Requiem in about 3-4 hours. We don’t recommend you do this for your first playthrough, though. Take your time on your first game, then you can try getting a better score.
Resident Evil Requiem is available now on PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
