There’s a whole new part of combat available to you in Pokémon Legends: Z-A once you unlock the ability to use Mega Evolutions. This combat maneuver, which transforms your Pokémon into a stronger variation of itself, requires them to hold Mega Stones for it to work.
The problem is that you don’t start out with all the Mega Stones you need, so you must get them yourself. To help you become a combat master in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, here’s a list of where to find all Mega Stones.
All Mega Stones and their locations in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
There are multiple methods for obtaining Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the majority of which fall under purchasing from the Stone Emporium, exchanging Mega Shards with Quasartico Inc., and defeating Rogue Mega Pokémon throughout different missions.
Once you make it to Mission 9 in the main story, you’ll have saved your first Mega Pokémon, and that’s when you can begin to use Mega Shards and save other Rogues.
