How to Open the Pantry in Resident Evil Requiem

Not opening the Pantry door in Resident Evil Requiem is a big mistake, as there are plenty of goodies hiding inside this room. The most notable of these is a charm that improves Grace’s knives — a substantial help in a game with limited ammo.

The only problem is that the Pantry Key isn’t in any obvious spot. Luckily, we know exactly where you can find the Pantry Key in Resident Evil Requiem, so let’s help you open the Pantry at Rhodes Hill before you reach the point of no return.

Where to find the Pantry Key in Resident Evil Requiem

The only way to get your hands on the Pantry Key in Resident Evil Requiem is to defeat the zombie chef enemy, which we’ll refer to here as The Butcher. You’ll find this hulking monster initially in the kitchen in Rhodes Hill’s West Wing. Later, once you’ve unlocked the East Wing, he will begin roaming the West Wing.

If The Butcher isn’t near the kitchen, check near the Dining Room. While you can kill him the hard way, it’s a waste of resources, so we recommend crafting a Hemolytic Injector and stabbing him in the back with it. As he’s stalking around the West Wing, you can easily sneak up behind him and use it to make him explode.

After defeating The Butcher, he will drop the Pantry Key. Take this to The Pantry, unlock the door, and inside you’ll find a ton of good loot.

There are two buckets of blood you can extract, a piece of scrap, ammo for Requiem, and a Stakeout Takeout Charm. This charm only needs to be in your inventory for it to work, and it increases your knife power and durability while playing as Grace.

Resident Evil Requiem is available now on PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
