Ghost of Yotei was already a lengthy and complete game when it launched last year, but developer Sucker Punch is back with a DLC that expands on main character Atsu’s history. However, before you can dive in and play the new missions and explore a new area of Japan, you’ll first need to complete a handful of missions. Here’s how to access Echoes of Sekigahara in Ghost of Yotei.
How to start the Ghost of Yotei DLC
To start the Ghost of Yotei DLC, you’ll need to have made a reasonable amount of progress in the main story (probably 8-10 hours). You’ll have to complete the following quests, which will require you to reach at least Act 2:
The Old Inn
The Way of Dual Katana
The Tale of the Oni
The Kitsune’s Fate
With these missions complete, you can head to a bounty board to snag a new quest called Nagato the Handsome. By accepting this quest, you’ll begin the DLC’s main story, though there will be plenty more optional content within the new area you visit, too. Best of luck out there, samurai.
