How can I play multiplayer in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment?
There are a few ways to have a second player join your playthrough of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The first and simplest way is to do local split-screen. To initiate, push down on the right joystick and enter Two-Player Mode. A menu with four different options will appear, and you’ll be prompted to have another controller join.
As for the other modes, there’s Gameshare (Nintendo Switch 2), Gameshare (Nintendo Switch 1), and Gamechat Gameshare. If you have two Nintendo Switch 2 devices or one of each Nintendo Switch, one player can play on their own screen instead of doing splitscreen. Same with Gamechat, where others can watch you play.
