We are once again graced by another new amazing addition to the indie rogue-lite genre with the early access release of Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarök from indie developer Noxfall Studios. The beautifully drawn game will be an enemy-hell style game full of massive hordes of enemies chasing you down. Players will unlock new weapons and abilities as they battle through the different realms of nordic mythology. As with all the best indie roguelites the goal is to design the most broken build and slay your enemies before they surround you!

The general plot of Nordic Ashes is as follows; after Ragnarök, Yggdrasil, the World Tree, lost almost all of its energy to sustain the Nine Realms. Only a few heroes survived the End of the World. In this Early Access, players will adventure as Axeldör, a Norse berserker, Thyra a fierce hunter, and Hafgrim, a master of the elements. Players might wield a legendary sword, or maybe conjure ancient fire to slay all the enemies that have reached your realm to conquer its remains!

As with many rogue-lites, the goal is to design different builds and make each run different by using Relics and Constellation Ability Trees to upgrade your Damage, Area, Cooldown, and many more stats during each run. These combinations will lead to incredibly different runs and some amazing action.
