The free-to-play cutthroat multiplayer social deduction game from Gaggle Studios seems to have laid itself a golden egg. Not only is Goose Goose Duck currently the most-played game on Steam in its genre, but it has surpassed more than 7.5 million total downloads and hosted more than 97,000 concurrent users! Thanks to these numbers, the community can look forward to free, fresh content each month such as new roles and maps.
If you haven’t tried this game out yet, in it you will uncover the quack among the geese in 16-player games featuring in-game proximity chat. Each round, decide amongst teammates which gander to gank in hopes of scouting out the malicious mallard. Scour eight mysterious maps like the S.S. Mothergoose, Nexus Colony, and Black Swan, as more than 40 roles including the goofy Dodo Bird, duck-eating Cannibal, and the devious Morphling.
Among the updates, the first upcoming one features a historical Egypt-inspired map, Ancient Sands, implementing three new roles and gameplay mechanic features. Be among the first to experience Ancient Sands in early access, as well as use gold to obtain in-game cosmetic items such as a cozy cow PJ hood, cute mermaid fin, regal silver crown, or a floating puppy, grim reaper, alien, or ghost friend.
Goose Goose Duck is available now on PC via Steam and mobile via Android and iOS (Apple) as a free-to-play multiplayer title. Are you excited about the fresh updates planned?
