In a message from Intellivision today, CEO Tommy Tallarico announced a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Amico console.
“In our challenging quest to try and stay as positive as possible during this most difficult time in the world, we hope our newest 3 minute gameplay trailer and upcoming VIP Edition announcement add a little excitement and joy to your day. Thank you for your incredible enthusiasm and support as we all try to stay safe and continue to face challenges ahead. We know that as a community, as people, we will overcome and flourish again.”
The new trailer brings old classics and new original games to life. From sharks to race cars, bean bag toss to safe cracking, the Amico promises to bring simple family fun back to your living room. The games’ graphics are an upgrade from the Intellivision classics, and are accessible to gamers and non-gamers alike.
Additionally, Intellivision announced today that customers can participate in a VIP offer, obtaining the graphite black, glacier white, or “Vintage Woodgrain” models of the console. The VIP package also provides a 25$ online Amico game gift card, a 25% off voucher for online merchandise, a lenticular running man collectible card signed by Tommy himself, and three soundtrack albums (digital) to include the “Earthworm Jim Anthology”. The VIP package costs 249$ or 279$ if the woodgrain console is selected.
