We all knew it was coming, but now it’s official. Universal has unleashed the announcement video confirming that Five Nights at Freddy’s is making its haunted house debut at Halloween Horror Nights 2025, and it’s going to be terrifying.
Inspired by Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film to date, the 2023 FNaF movie, this all-new haunted house puts you directly in the shoes of Mike, the desperate night security guard who takes a job at the long-abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. What starts as a simple gig quickly descends into pure nightmare fuel as the animatronics come alive and the pizzeria reveals its darker secrets.
Guests will step straight into iconic scenes from the movie, including the security office and the infamous showroom stage, all while being stalked by Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and even Mr. Cupcake. The full-scale animatronics, created in collaboration with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, promise to bring the same eerie magic seen in the film—only this time, you’re not watching from the safety of your couch.
I saw the statues of the animatronics when they were displayed at HHN in past years, and they looked fantastic even then. So the idea of a full house? I’m all in.
Five Nights At Freddy’s will be available at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando. Get your tickets online now, before you chicken out.
