It's Time To Celebrate LOST ARK's First Anniversary!

Sometimes, it is amazing to see when a game hits its first anniversary. Not only did the time fly, but the player base would need to remain strong in order for it to reach such a milestone. Now, developers Smilegate and publisher Amazon Games are ready to celebrate the first anniversary of Lost Ark in a number of ways.

For starters, in the new anniversary event, players can hunt down birthday cards, which have been scattered all around Arkesia, to earn in-game rewards that include skins, honing materials, card packs, and more. At the top of this article you will find the new data-packed infographic, which showcases the exciting milestones Lost Ark has achieved in its first year. Highlights include:

  • 1.6B Player Deaths

  • 734.6M Mokoko Seeds Collected

  • 313.2M Hours Watched on Twitch

  • 192.8M PvP Kills

  • 30.6M Island Souls Collected

Of course, with every update comes a series of patch notes. This month’s update includes a new continent, Rowen, where players will encounter two competing factions: Preigelli and Liebertane, who are competing for crimson jewels, a precious resource in Arkesia. At the end of the Rowen world quests, players can choose a faction for open-world PvP, but the battle is just the beginning – the competition will heat up further in March when the Tulubik Battlefield releases.

For now, you can find details on the anniversary celebration regarding the new in-game events, valuable rewards, Twitch Drops, and more right on their website blog. If you want to check out what is to follow after this month’s celebrations, be sure to check out their 2023 roadmap.
