Landed a 3-game partnership, SnowCastle Games has partnered with Jagex in order to ensure the future of their EARTHLOCK series. This is a '90s-inspired RPG series that kicked off after a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign and the first title of which was published on Steam in 2018.
While players can dive into the series now on EARTHLOCK, the next game in the line-up is a spin-off titled Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure. This will mark the first title associated with Jagex through this partnership and it will be followed by the official sequel title EARTHLOCK 2. Very little information has been shared about the official sequel at this time.
Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is a wholesome crafting adventure game set in the Earthlock universe. Currently, in Early Access on Steam, Ikonei Island will continue to develop in partnership with players working together online in a shared world.
This new partnership definitely shows a bright future for the EARTHLOCK series overall. From the game’s development to the player’s entertainment, there is a lot to look forward to now that an already successful series has such a strong backing assisting it to improve in future titles.
