Frontier has announced that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released on November 9th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
Taking place immediately following the events of the movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, players will dive into a new and original Jurassic World story. Players will lead efforts to control, conserve and contain dinosaurs alongside a spectacular cast of characters from the films, including Dr. Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing. Both of the game’s characters will be voiced by their respective live-action actors, Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard.
The upcoming title will allow players to build their parks beyond the original game’s Muertes Archipelago Islands. The new setting will span across new environments such as dense forests, rocky deserts, to sun-drenched tropics, each with its own unique terrain and environmental challenges.
The sequel will offer players a new Campaign mode, expanded construction options, and more customization choices. In addition, there is an all-new Chaos Theory mode in which you can experience pivotal moments from the film franchise, tempting fate with various “what if” scenarios from all five films.
For those looking for creative freedom to build as they please, there’s a Sandbox mode offering the ability to establish your own vision of an ultimate dinosaur park. Additionally, there’s a Challenge mode that allows players to test their management skills across different scenarios, attempting to achieve the best park rating in the shortest amount of time.
The upcoming entry into the franchise looks promising and certainly aims to build on the original 2018 game’s success. We’re looking forward to getting our hands on this highly anticipated sequel, from the makers of Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, and Elite Dangerous.
