Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been confirmed to be a direct sequel to the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, filling in part of the 50-year gap between the first and second games. With it taking place in the same universe, we will see the return of fan-favorite characters like Mason, Woods, and Hudson. To prepare us for the upcoming title, Treyarch has released some articles detailing the action-packed history of these beloved characters, as well as some new ones.
You can check out the series of “Black Ops History” articles on Treyarch’s official website, under the “Game Intel” tab. Currently, you can find articles for Mason, Woods, Hudson, Russell Adler, and Helen Park on the website; but I expect to see more as we get closer to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The next installment of the Call of Duty franchise launches on November 13. Don’t forget to check out the Multiplayer reveal on September 9, and don’t miss the Open Beta rumored to take place on October 8.
