The inevitable standalone release of Call of Duty’s most iconic entry in the series has been outed by Gamefly. According to a posting on their site, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is scheduled for release June 20 on PS4 and July 20 on Xbox One. This would make sense due to the 30 day exclusivity that Sony has with Activision. Check out the screenshot of the leaked posting from Gamefly below.

Many gamers that decided not to pick up the Legacy or Deluxe Editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be happy to hear that the standalone release seems to be happening. Activision has yet to officially announce anything regarding a separate Modern Warfare Remastered release, but I think it is safe to expect something very soon.
