Keeping the ball rolling on their free-to-play RPG, based off of the Multiverse that is the Magic: The Gathering trading card game, Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios reveal the latest content for Magic: Legends. Not only did they reveal the Dimir Assassin Planeswalker class, but they launched an April-long event called Mana Rig Mayhem. This event has already begun and will run until April 29th, so if you haven’t logged in and started your way up the rewards then there’s no time like the present!
As for the Mana Rig Mayhem event, each day you participate brings you closer to unlocking the ‘Unstable Beam’ Red Mythic Sorcery spell. The ‘Unstable Beam’ is a powerful attack that will deal damage to foes in front of you twice per second as long as you maintain this spell. Foes have a chance to be knocked down. To unlock these rewards, you must quell the chaos inside each day of the event to earn one (1) Mana Rig Signet and other rewards. Collect 14 Mana Rig Signets and visit the Aetheric Core in your Realm to unlock the Unstable Beam spell, 2 Unstable Beam Spell Infuser packs, 100,000 Gold, and 150,000 Unrefined Aether.
You can get a head start on the Mana Rig Mayhem event during this Weekend event too. Earn double the Red Planar Mana all weekend long that you can use for upgrading structures and unlocking new Spells, Equipment and Artifacts.
When it comes to the Dimir Assassin Planeswalker, his release comes with a few other unlocks. Enjoy the Dimir Assassin Costume, Disinformation trait that unlocks at level 30, and the Nightveil Stalker spell. Players can unlock this new Planeswalker at Level 50 of the free and premium tiers of the Battlepass. The class is also available as the Grand Tier Prize for the Dimir Assassin Booster Pack.
