Nintendo recently brought new life to one of their biggest surprise titles this year, Mario Strikers: Battle League. Although Next Level Games has given us an enjoyable title, it seemed to lack content. Well, it would seem our concerns are starting to get addressed and Nintendo has announced that new content will be coming to the game via a free update!
Players can expect to see two brand new characters added to the roster, Daisy and Shy Guy. These new additions will also have their own unique attributes and abilities that will allow players to fit them into their all-star team. Along with these two new characters comes brand new gear, the Knight-Themed Gear. Besides looking cool, these medieval wares will increase the player's strength and shooting attributes at the cost of other attributes.
Lastly, players will be able to compete in a brand new gritty stadium, Desert Ruin. Not only will matches be accessible in this new arena, but it can also be set as your club stadium as well.
All of this new content is scheduled to launch on July 22nd via a free update for all players. Mario Strikers: Battle League will continue to receive two more free updates in the near future, so players can expect to see more content sometime in 2022.
