This past week, publisher Square Enix and developer Eidos-Montréal dropped a new trailer during the Playstation Showcase for their Marvel collaboration, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The gameplay shown in the trailer is frantic and colorful providing a look at Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians, wreaking havoc on different enemy types across diverse environments.
The trailer features a look at a new character, Cosmo the dog, who has unique telepathic superpowers. Big set-piece moments look to be a big feature in the gameplay that will be sure to please fans of the movie franchise. We even got a look at the space flight combat which looked impressive!
This game continues to grow on me with each new drop of information. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy releases Tuesday, October 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch via Cloud Streaming.
