Shortly after Konami announced the long-rumored MGS3 Snake Eater remake they also announced that the original titles in the series would be coming to modern platforms this Autumn. Dubbed the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1, this is the first time players will be able to play these classic titles on modern consoles and it will be the first time Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be playable on PC. Today it was finally revealed to be arriving this fall, on October 24th. Check out the details below.

This is an impressive list and it will be a first that the Xbox and Nintendo consoles will have the ability to play the PlayStation exclusive MGS1. Those who pre-order either the digital or physical versions of the collection will receive three exclusive digital tracks. It has also been revealed that Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 will be available to purchase separately as a digital download. However, the bonus content seems to be exclusive to the bundled Master Collection package. At the moment, there is no word yet on what an MGS: Master Collection Vol.2 would entail but fans are hopeful that MGS4 will see the light of day on new hardware.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 is releasing on October 24th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
