Metro fans rejoice the series is not ending after last February’s release of Metro Exodus! Dmitry Glukhovsky, the author behind the Metro book series and consultant on the Metro games, has posted a very telling Instagram post stating he is "working on the story" for a future title. You gotta love the picture used here as well with a big T.B.C (To Be Continued) Scribbled on the cover art of Exodus. We probably won’t see anything about this future title for some time though.
The Metro titles have been some of the best narrative shooters I have played in years and knowing the franchise will continue is a joy! If you haven’t played any of the games for yourself, Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light have both received current gen ports for you to easily go back and play along with the 6 month old Metro Exodus. The awesome atmosphere and trippy story is reason enough alone to check it out!
