It’s truly amazing how well funded some titles can get after opening up a crowdfunding page through the handful of online sources. Bringing anticipating players a new Metroidvania title with wonderfully hand-drawn graphics and intense gameplay is Mongoose Rodeo in their upcoming game Crowsworn. Just last week they opened a Kickstarter page, reached full funding for the asked amount of roughly $100k USD in just 3 hours, and are now sitting at $370k USD with 24 days remaining!
With funding more than assured, players should prepare to explore a giant interconnected world that is inhabited by vicious enemies and monsters. And danger lurks around every corner. In a dark and oppressive world, where even the air seems to carry weight, you awake from a deep slumber. Seemingly void of purpose, you venture forth attempting to retrace your steps and regain your lost memories...
Crowsworn is planned to be released on PC via Steam, but they are also aiming to get it on console as well. With nothing but stretch goals left to reach, I’m sure it is very likely we will see it branch out to at least one other platform. For now, let’s just see how high this game can climb with their Kickstarter campaign!
