Microsoft Could Be Working On Xbox PC As A New Digital Store Front For PC

Xbox has their Games Showcase later today but it seems that one of the announcements could be a hint at something to come. Yesterday, many PC users were reporting seeing their Xbox console games on their Xbox PC app and while many dismissed it as a glitch, another curious incident might hint at Microsoft working on a new store for their games on PC.

Tom Warren also pointed out how an upcoming game called ‘MIO: Memories in Orbit’ mentions Xbox PC at the end of the trailer.

For many years, Microsoft has tried to make their own store front a thing, as early as Windows 8 with the Microsoft Store and even presently on Windows 11. The experience is not as optimal when compared to Steam or Epic Games Store, but this could mean that Microsoft is planning on launching a new storefront that caters to launching a new store front to compete with the previously mentioned PC stores.

Whether these are all a series of convient events taking place, we will find out later today when the show starts at 1 PM EDT.
