MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM EXTREME VS. MAXIBOOST ON arrives in the U.S. for the first time later this year!
The game includes a staggering 183 playable units from 36 versions of GUNDAM. That’s a crazy high number, so fans of the fighting game will be able to experiment with all of the different Mobile Suits once it releases on PlayStation 4.
Developers from Bandai Namco discussed the game, which features team battles and the Ex Burst ability. This is the first console announcement for the Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. series since the FORCE game in 2015. And while players can use any of the 183 playable mechs, if you include all of the NPC mechs in the game, there are over 300. That’s a remarkable amount of variety that will be exciting for battles.
For fans of the arcade version of the game, the team at Bandai Namco is using the final version that has been fine-tuned over years.
