Capcom has just announced the first open-Beta for Monster Hunter: Wilds, the next entry in the series slated for February 28th, 2025 release date. The beta will be on PlayStation first and later on come to other platforms.
On their blog, Capcom has detailed the Open-Beta timing and dates.
PS5 Early access (Will require PS+): Oct 28 - Oct 30
Xbox Series/PC (Steam): Oct 31 - Nov 3
In addition, crossplay has been confrimed and whatever character and Palico you create in the open-beta will be carried over to the final game on release.
With less than half a year left toward the release, many fans are eager to try out the latest entry in the series, and the first Monster Hunter game that will truly take power of modern generation consoles as they leave behind the previous generation. 2022’s Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak were mostly an 8th console generation release which is why it was held back, but WIlds looks to make the most of the uncapped hardware at their disposal.
