Bandai Namco has announced recently that they will be bringing three Naruto titles to the Nintendo Switch this Spring. The publisher announced that the games will come in one package and will be titled, Naruto: Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy. The game is slated for a release next month, and will mark the debut of a Naruto game on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
The trilogy will be comprised of, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and Ultimate Ninja Storm 3: Full Burst. The Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will revolve around Naruto’s early days as a young ninja, all the way through the Fourth Great Ninja War event.
“Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy drops players into the Ninja World and gives them the chance to actively experience major battles and fan-favorite scenes with larger than life bosses, adrenaline-pumping quick time event sequences, fast-paced battles, and visuals that rival the anime series it is based on,” says Bandai Namco in their announcement.
Furthermore, the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy will not only feature the base games, but will also include a selected number of DLC costumes from the original games all for free. Lastly, the package will include additional episodes and a few scenarios that was previously released as DLC by Bandai Namco.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm will be released on the Switch digitally, through the Nintendo eShop on April 26. What do you think of the Naruto trilogy heading to the Switch? Which game is your favorite? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
