Bringing a new, brightly colored bullet hell is the popular indie publisher Team17 who have teamed up with developers Veewo Games in their soon-to-launch title Neon Abyss. This colorful pixel art game is planned to release on July 14th on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, but has released a free demo for players on both PC and Nintendo Switch to try it out today.
Take on the role of a member of ‘Grim Squad’ – a task force set-up by Hades himself to infiltrate the Abyss and defeat the New Gods. As you run ‘n’ gun your way through the action-adventure into the abyss, you will face saiyan-like abilities as each death will grant yourself a more empowered. However, each run through these evolving dungeons will provide a unique system that will make each run a diversified experience and every choice alter the ruleset.
