NetEase Brings Destiny To Mobile With Destiny: Rising

Ever wished you could play Destiny on your phone? Now you can, as NetEase Games and Bungie have launched Destiny: Rising on Android and iOS.

Destiny: Rising is set in an alternative timeline where a new generation of Lightbearers and the Ghosts that resurrected them following The Collapse that resulted from the Dark Age fight to bring humanity back to its former glory. You’ll be able to play Destiny: Rising in either first-person just like in the original Destiny games, or in third-person mode. Choosing the latter will allow you to watch yourself take down every alien that crosses your path, , which is a first for the Destiny franchise.

You’ll meet some new characters and run into some familiar faces as you explore the world post Dark Age, and engage in multiplayer campaign missions, co-op strikes, and PVE and PVP modes. Will you see Cayde-6 again? We don’t know, but we can only dream of seeing his beautiful android face once more.

Destiny: Rising will support frame rates between 60 fps and 90 fps, depending on which phone you have. Make sure you test the frame rates for a better gameplay experience.
